CodeToGo App Reviews

OK

It is a pretty good app for simple stuff but I got it thinking I could learn java and do some projects, but THERE IS NO USER INPUT

Good, and would like...

Lisp seems to have some trouble. The form (+ 1 2) gets an error screen without any message. We require a back quote character for Lisp. Would like the iPhone keypad to stay on numbers instead of switching to alphabetic characters on a space. Would like the ability to define more specialty keys.

Great app

This helps me so much as I have a Mac so .exes cannot launch I have just one concern: In settings the add top characters thing doesnt work. But otherwise, great app

Not for C++

Very basic c++. Cannot ask for user input and like one review states the libraries are not available. You can read code but that is about it. So I guess if you need to review someones code it might be ok. Otherwise pretty weak!

Servers down?

Cant do anything with running programs since yesterday...

No input from user?

Please add more than just output and errors.

Epic!

I am a young 10 year old programmer and this app is just what I needed to get my companys game started. It is a little difficult to use, but you eventually get the hang of it. I would recommend this to any ambitious programmers out there.

Needs ProcessingJS!

This app is great, but it needs my favorite programming language: ProcessingJS!

Underrated

Good for quick testing. A fun little app that i personally have found useful for quickly testing algorithms and ideas. ALSO it can render HTML- allowing me to test web design layouts and color schemes under the counter at work. Even loading images works fine provided you use a valid url as the src! Now a warning- This is not useful if you NEED realtime input. You cannot use custom libraries or even multiple header/source files. It should be obvious, but apparently not to these people... This is not where you write your completed code- this is a supplement not a replacement to a good ide. Its not a full orchestra its a single instrument. Sure you cant complete your work but it certainly helps in planning. As for input theres an input tab at the bottom right of your screen. Initialize your variables and use that screen to handle any cin. Just type what you want the input to be in sequential order separated by a space. ...Also classes and function work fine in c++ and im sure thy do in everything else.

Good, but I

Couldnt run Java. I tried when I was connected to different wifi networks and even on LTE. Just couldnt run.

Crap app

This app is not compiling programs , dont buy this app

Wont run programs

I write code, and try to run it, but every time, it says "could not run. Are you connected to the internet?" I am connected to the internet btw. Ive tried it on and off of wifi and the problem persists

Wont run

Maybe its temporary in which case Ill fix the rating but no programs actually compile

Great App!

Request the addition of Objective-C.

Ok app.

It allows you to write very basic things for when you are bored but thats about it. This app could be turned into something pretty great if the developer still updated it.

Markups

The app is fairly well with the ability to test a few quick lines, but I commonly use XML, even though its often optimized to specific devices. I feel that they could add it, however.

Unknown

Its a nice app, lots of programming languages. The only downside however is I still havent figured out how to use the input. I assume it has something to do with the tab that says "Input(stdin)" but alas, thou hath not figured it out yet. If anyone could explain how this app works twould be great.

Good app

This is a good app I just want a cin option or something all you can do it cout

Horrid

Imports wont work from outside the Java packages. Scanners dont work at all.

Needs better interface and features

Its great that it has syntax highlighting but it doesnt give you a choice of the extension to save to. Also theres no code hinting. What would make it worth while is if it also included GIT support and the features I mentioned before. Also maybe an FTP option so youre not confined to DropBox. I give this two stars because its missing some core features that any editor for programming/scripting should always have.
